Do you like to give other people a nice day? Do you like good food and drinks? That's very nice!
Just outside the center, located on a fantastic green square, you will find Plezant; a wonderfully colorful and atmospheric restaurant with a spacious terrace. On the menu you will find a nice combination of accessible yet culinary individual dishes and the chef's menu. Fish, meat, vegetarian, but also possibly vegan, and many based on plant-based dairy substitutes.
The menu is printed in-house and features new flavors and dishes. We continue to innovate and like compact and varied.
Responsibilities
As an (experienced) waiter, quite a bit is expected of you. You have some product knowledge of food and drinks and/or you enjoy delving into this.
You work towards responsibilities such as opening and closing and managing junior employees.
At Plezant, many aspects of working in a small team are discussed. Within the small team, tasks are divided, but also shared. For example, the room, the bar and the terrace are the main workplace in the service, but we also take care of cleaning and washing up as a service.
As a team we want everyone to shine at what they are best at. We try to keep each other sharp and help each other develop so that everyone can find and use that strength.
What are we looking for in you?
Experience is not the most important thing, but it is an advantage.
If you have no experience but are eager to learn and are active and eager to learn, there may also be a place in our team. You will then develop the following points.
You can create and save an overview.
You can set priorities and estimate and adjust your timeline properly.
Apply etiquette in a relaxed manner and freedom and happiness in a neat manner.
Be yourself, not necessarily fully dressed up, but still neat and tidy.

Quick learner: you easily learn to explain new dishes and new wines. You also like this and are curious about it.

Action and reaction: being busy and not waiting but tackling. See, taste, smell, hear and do!
Gourmet: you like good food and drinks and you like to taste new things.
Social: in a neighborhood restaurant, recognition and an enthusiastic attitude are important. There is also a whole social function. Greeting neighbors and having a chat from time to time is something that neighbors, but we as service staff, really enjoy.
