The Concerthuis is a wonderful, cheerful company. We are open every day from 10 am to late evening. Our guests are open minded and informal, the atmosphere is relaxed and almost always someone is playing one of the many games. The food is mostly vegetarian/vegan, we have a wide range of specialty beers and love good coffee. We always look ahead and never stand still. This makes Het Concerthuis a pleasant, welcoming and dynamic whole.

Organize
A large part of your tasks are organizational and therefore means that you must be able to organize really well. Structured working is key and clear communication is necessary to ensure that everything runs smoothly. You are the linchpin of the organization. Among other things, you do all bar orders, make the schedules, arrange replacement in case of illness, have input in the range and pick up project-based improvement points that we determine together.

To lead
You manage the entire service team and also the shift leaders. You are at the head of this team and meet regularly to discuss progress. In addition, you are partly on the floor as a shift leader (we are working towards this). During these shifts you will manage the serving team, ensure communication with the other departments such as the kitchen and solve problems on the floor.

A place at the table
We are looking for someone who goes towards his or her goal with energy and is looking for development in a management role. You will be the right hand of the owners and will be involved in everything. Your input is listened to and you have a lot of freedom to determine course. That is why we are really looking for someone who wants to take on this challenge for a longer period of time and who fits in with Het Concerthuis.

The Chef Service function (complete management of the service team of 16-20 employees), which includes a starting salary of 2.287,70 with little experience, with more experience, a higher scale. What is The Concert House? We love beautiful food, special drinks and an inspiring environment. We want to continue to develop in order to surprise our guests. Through our personal style of service, we try to keep the distance to our guests as small as possible. We love innovation and are happy to offer our guests an alternative to standard catering.

As a shift leader (floor manager) at Het Concerthuis you are responsible for the daily management of the service on the floor. You work together with 4 other shift leaders and of course with the team of operating staff. The team as a whole is managed by the service chief.

The most important thing as a shift leader is that you like to take charge, have an overview and can motivate well. For this it is necessary that you have experience in service and preferably also in a similar managerial role. In addition, it is of course important that you can add something to the Het Concerthuis team with your personality and commitment.


What are we looking for in you:

- The Concerthuis and its atmosphere make you happy
- You love the catering industry and get adrenaline from busy moments
- You can be deployed flexibly
- You are available at least 3 days/evenings/nights a week
- You have at least 2 years of catering experience, as a manager is a plus, but that is not necessary
- Knowledge of specialty beer and barista experience is a strong advantage, but not necessary
- Social Hygiene and emergency response is a plus, but can also be achieved in the initial phase of work
