Sociëteit De Poll, a catering company located on the grounds of the Noord Nederlandse Golf & Countryclub in Glimmen is looking for an experienced Service Manager (36 or 38 hours per week)! Is hospitality in your genes and do you recognize yourself in the profile below?

As a Service Manager, you will manage an enthusiastic and hospitable team of permanent and on-call employees. Your daily activities will include planning, managing and coaching the staff. As a cooperating foreman/woman, you will bring calm and ensure that everyone knows what is expected. You will consult between the restaurant and the kitchen, maintain an overview during busy times and help out when necessary.

But just as important is that you as a host/hostess are the calling card for the hospitality industry. You are the point of contact for the guests and the satisfaction of the guests is central to you!
You enjoy dealing with people, you are experienced in the hospitality industry and you can work independently. You are representative, social and dare to show initiative. In addition, you have the capacity to manage, lead and delegate.
The working days can be flexibly filled in upon consultation!

Responsibilities:
- You direct the wait staff
– You are a point of contact for both employees and guests and solve any problems
– Training and coaching (new) employees
– You are responsible for administrative tasks such as creating schedules, organizing work meetings, etc.

– You know how to motivate and make others enthusiastic
– You can work well together
– You have an eye for detail, you know how to tackle and you show initiative
– You foresee bottlenecks and act on them immediately

– You see the work and only stop when it is finished
It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and a car, this is in connection with closing at the end of the day.


The salary will be determined based on work experience. Any other employment conditions and travel allowance will be discussed in a personal interview.
