We are looking for
An (assistant) manager who is responsible for organizing and planning events. Someone who unburdens our guests and lets them enjoy themselves to the fullest. Someone who informs the s'Amuse team, leads on the work floor and likes to think along.

s' Amuse Cateraar is a full-service caterer in Groningen with two locations:
The BuitenSociëteit at the Paterswoldsemeer and the De Coendersborg estate in Helpman.
s'Amuse listens to the guest's wishes. This can be for a special location to dine, together or with 2000 guests, but also a chef at home or a completely catered wedding; you can expect anything from s'Amuse. It is only really enjoyable when dishes, drinks, entourage and atmosphere are coordinated.

What are you going to do?
Within s'Amuse you are partly responsible for the daily business. You take care of the planning for events where you provide optimal service to our guests and ensure that everything is arranged from A to Z. In this you have close contact with the team and the kitchen. You are the face of the organization. You like to have a lot of contact with people and to be involved in communication and social media.

When requesting an event, you map out the wishes of our guests in a personal conversation and translate these into a tailor-made proposal. You then have personal, telephone and e-mail contact with our guests. Through your enthusiasm, your goodwill, your hospitality thinking and professionalism, you know how to bind people to you. At the event itself, you are always present to guarantee the quality and you manage the s'Amuse team. This can be at meetings, congresses and at parties and celebrations. Together with the team and a varying number of part-timers, you make the difference every day.

You have:
• Hospitality in your DNA
• A strong sense of responsibility
• A hands-on mentality
• Feeling for sales opportunities in the market and you know how to convert them
put in beautiful assignments
• You manage employees at a party and participate yourself
• Excellent communication skills and command of the Dutch language
• You conduct interviews with (potential) clients
• Experience in the field of communication and social media
• HBO work and thinking level

Since you regularly attend events, it is natural for you to also work in the evenings and at weekends.

What do we offer?
• A one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment
• Number of hours: 32 to 38 hours per week with an appropriate salary
