Our chef Soleil is urgently looking for a right-hand man! As a shift leader, you'll be responsible for organizing and coordinating meetings, dinners, parties, or weddings. You can do this in your own welcoming way, at a beautiful, peaceful, and green location.

Rietland organizes weddings, parties, and meetings. Everything is customized, making the work very varied. As a shift leader, you'll lead the team and ensure the meeting runs smoothly. You'll provide directions and instructions, handle questions and any complaints from guests, and also contribute to the execution yourself. This is all done in consultation with your manager. Rietland is closed on Sundays but otherwise open very flexibly, so we expect you to be flexible.

Job description:
Our chef Soleil is urgently looking for part-time service staff! Rietland is situated in the middle of the vast nature reserve near Noorddijk, on the outskirts of the city of Groningen. The tranquility the place exudes is reflected in the way things are run at Rietland. We are used to taking our time with a guest. No rushed service, no beeping microwaves. But that doesn't mean we don't work hard. Besides the peace the surroundings offer, hard work in the countryside is also a matter of course. The farmhouse has been completely restored and furnished by the owners themselves, using authentic building materials and the conviction that it is good to see something of the creators' personalities reflected in it. As a service staff member, you will be fully integrated into our team, sometimes in the dining area, sometimes behind the bar, sometimes during a wedding, and sometimes during a meeting.

Rietland caters for weddings, dinners, parties, meetings, and conferences, and everything is custom-made, so no two events are the same. We are always closed on Sundays.
