Job description:Plezant is looking for a hostess/host (fixed hours, to be determined together)
Do you want to work in a small, cozy, and homey restaurant where you can truly be a host or hostess? Then Plezant is the right place for you. You welcome regulars as well as new (local) guests, take time for a chat, wine recommendations, and ensure a wonderful evening.
Just outside the city center, situated on a fantastic green square, you will find Plezant; a wonderfully colorful and atmospheric neighborhood restaurant with a spacious terrace. On the menu, you will find a nice combination of gourmet dishes and the chef's menu, but happy hour is also very enjoyable during the summer months!
What do we expect from you?
- you see work that needs to be done, you like to get things done and show initiative
- you have relevant experience in the hospitality industry
- you switch between serving food, advising on wines, making coffees, cocktails/mocktails, and are creative in fulfilling wishes
- you are eager to gain more experience in the field of food and wine pairing and hospitality
- you speak fluent Dutch, and a good command of the English language is desirable
- you are available for at least 3 Friday evenings and Saturday evenings per month
- You are truly motivated to give every guest a fantastic experience and to make every evening a top-notch evening.
