Robotic arm, distillery and more
What makes this catering concept really unique, however, is the cocktail bar on the first floor. Here you will find robot arm Armando who pours the 56 different homemade liqueurs, rums and gin from the eight meter high liqueur cabinet. This type of robot normally only has medical and industrial applications; mr. Mofongo is the first company in the world where the robot arm is an extension of the bartenders. The cocktail bar, with classic cocktails and variants with an exciting twist, is part of Mofongo's Distillery.
Mofongo's Rooftop Winebar is the place where innovation and experience come together. About 70 different wines are served here from the established old, but also new wine world. Selected by our sommelier, owner Beijk and Máximo Mofongo themselves, who have made many wine trips together in recent years. We use a unique robot tap system here, so that you can simply order the most exclusive wines by the glass, a so-called “wine-by-the-glass concept”. In addition, a global food menu is served here with beautiful international dishes to share.
In the distillery, one floor up, drinks are processed from the basic ingredient to the end product: from high-quality gin to the purest vodka. The guest is in the middle of the process of making liqueurs and other special drinks with ingredients from all over the world. From the bar there is an unobstructed view of the upper floors where two copper stills, large barrels with house-blended rum, the boiler room and the infusion room can be admired. This makes the process of drawing liqueurs and distilling and lagering liquor completely transparent. The company also has a coffee roaster that roasts special types of coffee from various continents on a daily basis.
