Grain Silo Food & Drink
One hundred and thirty years ago, grains such as barley and wheat – main ingredients of beer – were stored in the grain silo on the Griffeweg in Groningen. Today, the old Groningen grain warehouse is home to the Grain Silo brand.

From here we develop the tastiest beers together with our friends and create delicious dishes.

Taste together, enjoy together
Grain Silo Food & Drink is the place in Groningen where you can enjoy a surprising lunch, dinner or drink together. You can also relax on the large terrace, have Friday afternoon drinks with colleagues in the beer safe, or have a nice drink before diving into the city with friends.

At Grain Silo Food & Beverage we believe that your flavors are positively influenced when you are surprised. Our dishes are inspired by worldly influences and are served in a unique way.

    Amount of hours: 38 hours per week
    Training & certificates: Not necessary
    Language requirements: Dutch

    Job description:
    We are looking for colleagues who:

    Want to exceed expectations every day and make fans of our guests.
    Have a passion for good food and drinks and you enjoy telling the story behind our products to our guests.
    Work hard and have a lot of fun when the best can combine.
    Working together is just as important as we are.
    Master the required (product) knowledge and/or (serving) techniques or are willing to learn this.


    What are you going to do?
    As an independent working cook, you are responsible for independently (pre) preparing and perfectly preparing the dishes for our guests. You think along in coming up with new surprise menus in order to continuously improve quality. Everything that happens in the kitchen and goes out of the kitchen will exceed the expectations of our guests.

    This is what we offer you:

    You have knowledge of HACCP and find it important to have a clean workplace.
    Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
