Shared Dining has been very popular since the beginning of October.
For enthusiasts, we still have a number of Fine Dining options such as Caviar or daily specials for fish and meat if you prefer your own plate, which we certainly understand!

Houdt van Eten has been a household name in the city and surrounding area for 13 years and is located on the Herestraat in Groningen.
A home for returning guests, a home for employees and a new home for every new guest. That is what it is all about for us, everyone should feel good there.
Accompanied by beautiful fresh top quality dishes and a good glass of wine, cocktails or delicious special beers in a nice informal atmosphere.
What the position entails
- You are the figurehead of the business, you radiate positive energy and thus create a pleasant atmosphere for the guests and the staff
- You are the host/hostess: you welcome guests, show them to their table, give them the attention they need
- You stand on the floor and work as a cooperating foreman: you serve guests or run the bar, you explain the menu, etc.
- At the same time, you keep an overview, you immediately signal when things threaten to go wrong and you solve it with a positive twist
- You lead the team in a natural, respectful way. You motivate the team and ensure that everyone can develop further.
- You hire staff and train them. You give everyone continuous feedback so that they continue to learn, and you are also open to feedback yourself.
- You create trust and an open atmosphere in which the team can say anything to each other. A pleasant working atmosphere brings out the best in everyone.
- You make the schedules, ensure good time registration. You ensure that the cash register is correct.
- You constantly monitor the quality and presentation of the dishes: does it look good, is everything warm, are the guests (really) satisfied.
- You ensure a good atmosphere in the restaurant: everything looks neat (including the staff). Our guests will feel warmly welcomed.
- You are progressive and constantly working on innovation
