We are a cozy pub situated in the heart of the city of Groningen. We are one of the oldest pubs in Groningen. Something we take a lot of pride in!

You will be working in our kitchen where you're mainly responsible for the dishwashing and kitchen area. Working hours are variable, but they're usually from the start of the evening (17:00/18:00 till we close (23:00/00:00).

The fire station of the city of Groningen was located opposite us.
Our interior often refers to this fire brigade theme! Something that loosens up the atmosphere.

D 'Ouwe Brandweer is looking for backup for her team! We are a cozy eatery that has been located at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep in the heart of Groningen since 1994. With us you will still find real old-fashioned cosiness. Our name says it all; we are located at the place where the sirens used to be audible. Opposite us was the fire station of the city of Groningen.
Our interior still frequently refers to this fire brigade theme, something that loosens up the atmosphere!

From the summer of 2020, extensive investments have been made to make D' Ouwe Brandweer the nicest and best running eatery in Groningen (we are proud of it!). To take this objective even further, we are looking for a manager/star who, together with the existing management team, will put D' Ouwe Brandweer even better on the map.
You will be working in a team of several full-timers, both in the kitchen and in the service, and you will form our management together with two other people. In consultation with these managers and the two owners, you shape this great company.
