Diyar Mangal, a Turkish restaurant unlike any other
In the heart of the city of Groningen, in the colorful Steenstilstraat, a Turkish restaurant Diyar Mangal has settled at number 17.
The word “Mangal” in Turkish means charcoal, barbecue and traditionally prepared meat on an open fire. “Diyar” was created by a loving combination of the first letters of the names of the owner's three children: Dilara, Yuksel and Arda.
