For almost a century, café Wolthoorn & Co has been the jewel in the crown of the Ellebogenbuurt, a famous entertainment area in the heart of Groningen.

The outside doesn't suggest how surprising it is inside; an authentic brown café, with painting and poetry all around, a popular billiards center and many mirrors so as not to miss as much as possible. A cafe where you are not only seen, but also heard and you also enjoy table service, as long as the crowds allow it.

The bartenders are one of a kind and they do everything they can not to say no and to guard the warm atmosphere. Mainly thanks to them, the Wolthoorn rose to first place in the national Café Top 100 in 2008. Once inside, you have a living room in which you always feel welcome.
