We are immediately looking for an independently working chef.
Grand Café Hooghoudt is located on the Grote Markt, the most beautiful square in Groningen. We have a restaurant, grand café and terrace.

You will work in a small team that is responsible for providing lunch, drinks and dinner. The key words for our lunches and dinners are: good quality basic ingredients, fresh and regional, aware of the seasons, with the times but with a classic touch.

What does the job involve?
- Responsibility for preparing the dishes for lunch, dinner and drinks;
- Assess the freshness, shelf life and correct quality of the ingredients;
- Monitoring the quality of the outgoing dishes;
- Adhering to hygiene rules (HACCP);
- Actively participate in the further professionalization and development of the kitchen (think of working methods, new menus, etc.);
- Keeping kitchen and working environment clean;

Job requirements:
- Minimum MBO training, level 3;
- Number of years of work experience in said position;
- Professional, driven and ambitious.
