De Toeter has been a household name in the city of Groningen for more than 30 years. What started as a music café has now grown into a very high-quality whisk(e)y and specialty beer café. The cozy layout, the spacious bar and the decorative brass instruments make De Toeter a pleasant café to enjoy.
De Toeter boasts 19 taps, over 200 bottled beers, and over 350 single malt whiskies. This extensive selection, combined with the hospitality and professional service, has led to numerous awards. De Toeter has been featured several times in the "Misset Café Top 100" and has also won the provincial title. The café is a proud ambassador for Orval and was voted "Best Single Malt Whisky Establishment in the Netherlands" at the end of 2010. And, to top it all off, De Toeter is a proud SMWS (The Scotch Malt Whisky Society) ambassador for whisky in the Northern Netherlands.

Activities
We organize 2 weekly quizzes, on Wednesday 20:00 PM and Sunday 19:00 PM, consisting of 8 rounds, 6 of which have general questions, 1 photo round and 1 fragment round. Both quizzes are given in Dutch and English.
