Are you a true hospitality whiz with an eye for detail and a passion for the business? Eetcafé De Branderij, located in the heart of Groningen, is looking for an enthusiastic Floor Manager/Shift Leader to join the team!

De Branderij is a cozy café where guests come for good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and personalized service. Our team is close-knit, energetic, and proactive – and we expect the same from you!

What are you going to do?

As a Floor Manager/Shift Leader, you're the point of contact on the shop floor. You'll ensure everything runs smoothly, lead the team, and step in when needed. You'll safeguard the quality, atmosphere, and hospitality for which De Branderij is renowned.

Your tasks include:
• Managing and motivating the team during your shift
• Ensure a smooth day or evening shift
• Communication between kitchen and service
• Monitor hygiene and safety
• Thinking about improvements in service and efficiency

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role
• Social, hospitable and stress-resistant
• Maintains a good overview, even when it is busy
• A real team player who knows how to inspire others
• Has Social Hygiene (or is willing to obtain this – is an advantage)

We are looking for new waiters for the nicest café in Groningen! (m/f) Do you see yourself working in our cozy restaurant? Do you have a feeling for good food, specialty beers and conviviality? Then we might be a match!

What we expect:

- Minimum one year of hospitality experience.
- You can walk with a tray
- Experience in dealing with guests
- You have an above-average interest in drinks
- You like a drink every now and then and a nice after drink
- Of course you like to deal with guests yourself
- Are at least 20 years old
