What are you going to do?
You will work within a small team in a very cozy beer pub in the city. With 19 taps, almost 100 bottled and canned beers and a few farm-fresh cocktails, we offer something for everyone. You welcome and serve guests with a smile and tap the perfect beer for everyone. Not in the mood for a beer or a Coke? You provide guests with advice and tell them your personal favorite! During the weekend you and our guests throw your feet off the floor!

What do we ask from you?
- You have an independent and assertive attitude to work, but you are also a team player;
- You are interested in beers and other alcoholic beverages; prior knowledge is an advantage;
- You are flexible and available on weekends;
- The catering industry makes your heart beat faster!
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage!

Are you a real: beer lover, host/hostess, team player, and do you have the appropriate skills to become a bar manager of the Chaplin's Pub? Then we're looking for you!

The Chaplin's Pub, a brown café on the Zuiderdiep in Groningen is looking for a bar manager. The Chaplin's Pub is a pub with a young, friendly and independent team. It is a café where you can get your feet off the floor several times a week while enjoying a nice beer or other drink. Student associations regularly visit us to enjoy the cosiness of the Pub. Beer and especially special beer are very popular with us, but wines and other drinks are also frequently ordered.

As a new colleague you will be responsible for the smooth running of all daily activities, both on the floor and behind the scenes. On the floor you become the face of the business and together with your colleagues you ensure that the guest has a nice evening and leaves with a smile. Behind the scenes you will be responsible for making the schedules, placing orders, training employees, implementing innovations and consulting with the manager.
