The Chap!
Chaplin's pub has been boasting on the Gedempte Zuiderdiep in Stad since 1996.

And oh boy, all those years it's been a lot of drinking. A delicious draught beer from one of our 18 taps, a glass of wine next to the blazing fireplace, a whopper of a Weizener on the terrace or a tightly tapped flute at our meter-long bar: our guests enjoy it all equally.

The Chap has received a very mixed audience all these years; bulging students in all age categories, young workers and even people in their thirties dare to grab their beer and have a little dance… In any case, beautiful people who we are happy with!

If you are looking for nice restaurants, come here! Every day we are open from 5 o'clock, in the weekend an hour earlier to be able to start an even earlier great evening.

Drink?!
We feel like we have duuznd there every week. Almost every Friday and Saturday we can witness a graduation or birthday party. During the week we have more to do with student associations and companies that come here for a drink.
