Our beautiful Flonk Hotel Groningen Center is located in a very convenient location in the center of the city of Groningen. The hotel has 77 comfortable hotel rooms and 7 fully equipped apartments. All rooms have a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, a desk, LCD TV, telephone and (free) WiFi. Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs.

The ideal location of the hotel, just inside the city canals and only a 10-minute walk from Central Station and the Groninger Museum, makes this the perfect place for a visit to Groningen. Opposite the hotel, separated by only one footbridge over the water, is the music center and theater De Oosterpoort. From the hotel it is only a 10-minute walk to the Grote Markt with the Martinitoren. There are countless cozy terraces, cafes and restaurants on the Grote Markt. The shopping streets and interesting sights such as the Prinsentuin, Rijksuniversiteit and the Martinitoren are located around the market.

Grand Café

The hotel's atmospheric Grand Café is located on the ground floor, directly behind the reception. In the morning, the Grand Café forms the atmospheric ambiance in which the extensive international breakfast buffet is served. The Grand Café is at your disposal throughout the day for a cup of coffee or tea. You can relax after shopping or reading a newspaper in the adjacent and well-stocked library.

Fitness

The fitness room is located on the ground floor of the hotel. This fitness room has four Technogym machines. In addition, the room has free weights and mats. The room is also equipped with a television. The space is open until 22 PM and entry for guests is free. Bottled water is available at the reception for a fee.

Parking

We have our own parking garage under the hotel. It is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance; you can park there based on availability. The cost of parking is €17,00 per car per overnight stay. If you wish to use the parking garage, please report to the hotel reception. From there, our staff will tell you how to drive into the garage.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, a valet parker is available who will drive your car into the garage for you and pull it out again when you leave. On the other days, valet parking is available on request. The parking garage has two electric charging points for cars.

If there is no more space in the hotel parking garage, we will advise you to park in the Qpark garage at Rademarkt 27 in Groningen. Flonk Hotel Groningen Center has a cooperation agreement with this garage so that you can park there at a reduced rate of € 19,00 per 24 hours.
