Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts & Society is the somewhat curious combination of an international arts festival at the cutting edge with exciting contemporary performing arts from all parts of the world... and a grand summer party in a freely accessible park. An annual eleven-day festival for about 135.000 visitors from Groningen, the rest of the country and the rest of the world.
