The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society is a large international whiskey club that selects its own barrels and where no concessions are made to quality and strength. These whiskeys are becoming more and more exclusive.
Hans Offringa was appointed last week during the speyside festival in Scotland to International Whiskey Ambassador of the Year. Hans Offringa is a whiskey author, connoisseur and since the beginning of the Whiskey Festival Northern Netherlands involved in the festival and the man behind International Whiskey Day. In March Offringa gave a masterclass with Smws bottlings in the Akerk.
