Last Tuesday, March 29, the Pavilion of the Lady opened its doors to invited guests; a dazzling, busy afternoon. As of today, March 30, 2016, the spacious pavilion is accessible to everyone.
After a spectacular introduction, a speech by owner Imogen Wills and the blowing up of a wall full of balloons, it is Pavilion of the Lady officially opened on Groningerweg. Everything has been thought out down to the last detail. The guests are well looked after, the glasses are refilled and Asian snacks are passed around.
Division
The restaurant consists of a large, open space surrounded by glass walls. The large, industrial-looking bar takes place in the middle of the store and is the eye-catcher. The cooks can be easily followed through the open kitchen and in no time you are outside on the large terrace with several jetties. At the front an exclusive space for private dining and wine tasting and above various rooms for parties and meetings. Finally, a beautiful spacious roof terrace with a view of the vast Paterswoldsemeer.
Guests
When asked what kind of people Imogen Wills hopes to welcome to the pavilion, she replies that everyone is welcome. “We initially took ourselves as the target group. We are both people with busy jobs, a child and we like a snack with a drink for affordable quality.” Tells the owner.
That quality is there, the business on the water exudes true luxury. But still, you can also wear jeans here and eat a fresh lobster on 'Lobster Monday', says the proud Imogen Wills.
