Night council and GGD come with 'safety training' about sex & drugs
As a result of the changing nightlife climate in the city and at associations, partly reinforced by corona, the GGD and the Groninger Nachtraad are working on safety training for students. With these training courses on the do's and don'ts of sex and drugs, the various parties hope to raise extra awareness and make going out a bit safer for everyone. In addition, the Night Council also has a reporting point for incidents in the Groningen night opened to develop campaigns and to enter into dialogue with (for example) the municipality, aid agencies and/or the entrepreneurs of the Groningen night.
Melt water is the new 'gold'
Meltwater from glaciers 'The taste of 100.000 years'. The Greenlandic government has started issuing licenses to companies that are allowed to exploit meltwater as drinking water. The Danish Inland Ice is one of the first producers to sell Greenlandic ice cream as a luxury product. With large ships, 'Inland' scours the coast in search of broken ice caps, after which the ice is bottled into water in luxurious wine bottles with screw caps. The selling price of such a bottle is around four euros per bottle and in China even around twelve euros. Incidentally, this is now happening in various glacier areas around the world, each region with its own exclusive waters. Gin distillers and chocolatiers are now big fans of the glacier water and the first star restaurants have it on the menu.
Until the next flash!
