World of Barista was founded in mid-2012 by Ulas Tarakci who, after years of experience as a barista and trainer, started his own company with the main goal of sharing his passion and multiplying his knowledge.

SCAE (The Specialty Coffee Association Europe) is a quality coffee organization with a training program and certification for baristas. The SCAE Barista Skills Foundation training is the first step to the professional barista level.
If you pass this exam you will receive an official barista certificate from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe and you will be registered on the SCAE website as a certified barista.
