Last Tuesday we received the sad news that our good friend Cees Plaggemars passed away very unexpectedly at the far too young age of 65 years.
Cees, known as Cees the fishmonger in the Groningen catering industry, has been delivering his orders to various catering establishments on his characteristic scooter for many years.
Typically with a hat on, he regularly came to the bar to drink a whistle, then managed to put a smile on everyone's face with his raw, loud voice and typical humor. What a mood maker, what a pleasure. “Just one more drink then!” Cheers Cees, to you.
