Monday 17 November 2014 is the kick off of a recurring event around Jenever: Jenever Proat!!! An initiative by Lennart Deddens, bar manager and distiller at Mofongo's Distillery at the Oude Boteringestraat and Felix Huisken, owner of Cafe Singelier in Helpman. Both are fans of the Dutch pioneering product in the world of spirits and would like to share their passion with colleagues in the city and other Jenever afficionados.
This is the first Jenever Proat, a foretaste of what you can expect in 2015 during the previously announced Horeca evenings on Monday in Mofongo's Distillery† During a year we want to share as much knowledge as possible about Jenever with you and review all possible options regarding the use of this primal product. To top it all off, we will eventually stoke a gin together at Mofongo's Distillery.

– Tastings of different Jenevers from all over the country. A surprise package from Felix and Lennart
– A presentation about the history and production method of Jenever
– An off the record launch of a new Hooghoudt product in collaboration with Jorrit van Geel
