For more than two months, the view of the Groningen cinema visitor has changed when leaving the cinema. Since mid-July, on the corner of Kleine Haddingestraat and Zuiderdiep, The Cabin opened. It was under renovation for three months before opening its doors. At that time, the old cafe was completely emptied to build something unique on that spot.
Bas Belz and Gerry O'Donohue, two men who came to Groningen for love, have found each other in a shared passion, the passion for hospitality. The two teamed up in April and the result is rock solid!
Bar
An informal and intimate atmosphere is created behind and in front of the bar. You will be involved in what you are looking for and advised where necessary. The gigantic poplar wood bar top, cut from a single piece, invites you to enjoy a Pint of Guinness or Gin & Tonic, just the way you like it. A special beer, with a wide choice or just a coffee with (a) good conversation. In The Cabin there is something for everyone and for every Groninger a place not to be missed!
