Taste the Culinary Taste (R)evolution of the North at the 2nd edition of the Gastronomy Festival
Lovers of culinary snacks & delicious drinks will get their money's worth on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2021 at the second edition of the Gastronomy Festival in the Martinikerk Groningen. After the successful 1st edition in March 2020, where the organization welcomed 3000 visitors and the expected relaxation of the corona measures, the time is ripe for a 2nd edition of the atmospheric culinary festival.
What to expect?
This year too, visitors can enjoy many stands with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, fine wines and specialty beers, regional delicacies, desserts, culinary snacks and more. At the Gastronomy Festival 2021, restaurants, eateries, cooks and entrepreneurs will present their dishes, drinks and regional products to the public.
Tasting in Groningen
Gastronomy Festival originated from the idea of 'Taste in Groningen', where visitors can enjoy everything that the northern catering industry has to offer in terms of food & drink at various stalls. Gastronomy Festival is therefore the place to discover new dishes and drinks and to meet (catering) entrepreneurs one on one. This way you will learn everything about culinary delights and you can participate in various food workshops and tastings. The festival takes place indoors, this is a conscious choice of the organization not to be dependent on the weather conditions in spring or autumn.
Gastronomy Festival 2021
The second edition of the Gastronomy Festival will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 15:00 PM to 21:00 PM and on Saturday, October 30 from 12:00 PM to 18:00 PM and this year the atmospheric Martini Church chosen as the location. The kids are most welcome at the festival! you can relax on large themed terraces and you will be entertained with a diverse program. In the coming months, the entire program will be announced and the participating companies will be presented.
