The basis of a dish must be good, but the dish only comes to life through the story of the chef.
CULINARY DISCOVERY TRIP
Cooking with the head and with the heart is what Jermain de Rozario finds important. In doing so, he crosses boundaries, plays with feeling and taste and creates his own signature. During this inspiration session, Jermain tells all about his culinary journey and shares his vision. From the first sketch to the creative process and the final creation of a dish. Jermain especially wants to inspire young chefs to give their own signature to the dishes they make.
The basics are important, but you don't stand out until you do your own thing, says Jermain. You have to discover for yourself where your strength lies and which style suits you.
ABOUT JERMAIN DE ROZARIO
Jermain is different from most chefs. At 21 he starts as a host in a restaurant and falls in love with the profession. When he is 25 he takes his first serious steps in the kitchen. From restaurants De Raymaert and 't Parliament he makes the step to the Lindehof ** in Nuenen. His talent is discovered by Soenil Bahadoer. Since May 2016, Jermain has been running his own restaurant in Helmond: De Rozario.
