Blue or even black teeth after a glass of red wine? Yeah so? Just keep smiling is my advice.
Some people even give up red wine for it….don't. Heavier red wines (Cabernet Sauvigon, Carmenere, Tannat etc.) contain more tannin and have an effect on the teeth.
Don't leave me with a very technical story…I prefer to enjoy a good glass. I do brush my teeth at night before going to bed (or once more in between). A wine that can create the "it doesn't matter" feeling I have black teeth is the Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Panul. This wine shows the strength of Chile in the current price range. Lots of red fruit aromas and a soft, round taste due to perfectly ripe harvested grapes that ferment under controlled temperatures. The approximately 6 months aging in new oak barrels gives the beautifully integrated wood nuance.
Perfect for the "braai", hearty meat dishes and for those who "don't care anymore" a decent aperitif! Keep on smiling…
