On Wednesday 13 December 2017, the organic cheese fondue from the Gronings / Amsterdamse Kaas in 't Bakkie was voted Best Product of the Year 2017-2018 in the ready-to-eat meals category. In this consumer election, 47.000 people voted for various products within 37 categories.
“It's great for us as a small company to stand out between such large companies and giant A-brands,” said Paul Rodenberg, one of the owners.
Large packaging
Later this month, Kaas in 't Bakkie will introduce a fresh cheese fondue in large packaging for the catering industry. In 2016, Kaas in 't Bakkie already won the first edition of the AH Product Pitch, a prize for young entrepreneurs with an innovative product.
