NThe Netherlands is widely known for everything that has to do with water: flood defences, water management and water conservation. Water is of course important in the hospitality industry, but water is becoming scarce. Dutch innovations can also be found in the catering industry that offer a water-saving solution, such as the AquaFox system.
With this system, the water tap at the sink can be closed and the correct amount of water is automatically dosed. AquaFox Nederland BV states that a catering entrepreneur saves an average of 20.000 liters of drinking water per month by using this device. With more than 4000 users in the Netherlands, more than 12 billion liters of water have been saved over the past 10 years, enough to fill the Johan Cruijff ArenA to the brim more than 3 times.
AquaFox Netherlands is one of the companies that offers a sustainable solution for the Horeca and will be present at the catering industry† The Horecava is an innovative and inspiring trade fair for catering professionals in the food service industry. In 2020 the Horecava will be 64 years old and will be held from 13 to 17 January in the RAI Amsterdam.
