Location Newscafe Groningen
The Newscafe is located in the city centre of Groningen. Groningen is a city, which is situated 200 kilometres from Amsterdam in the north of the Netherlands on the east side. Groningen is the Capitol City of the state Groningen.

The Newscafe
The Newscafe is a trendy styled café with four flours. On the ground floor is the grand café, which has two bars. On the first floor is the restaurant and kitchen. Offices of the Newscafe and storage rooms are located on the second floor. The meeting is located on the third floor. In the basement is our Danceclub.

The meeting
On the third floor are three function rooms. These three rooms are also available by one large room. The rooms are mostly been used for business meetings, wedding parties and private diners.
Meetings are only held by reservations.

The restaurant
Located on the first floor is the restaurant where 65 guests can be seated for a fusion-cooked meal.

Grand cafe
Passed the main entrance guests enter the Grand Café. During the day, from 12.00 till 15.00 o ‘clock, lunch is served in the Grand Café where 72 can be seated.
During the lunch most of the time’s jazz music will be played, after the lunch the music changes from jazz to lounge. The lounge music gets more and more up-tempo during the day. After 17:00 o ‘clock the tempo gets more relaxed. After 21:00 the music gets more up-tempo.
At 1:00 o’clock the Grand café closes on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Grand Café closes at 2:00.

Danceclub
The Danceclub opens on saturday at 23:00 and provides entrance for maximum of 400 visitors. Resident DJ’s will entertain the guests with Deep Soul House with Latin and funk vibes. The Danceclub is open till maximum 5:00, this depends on how crowded it is. The Danceclub is also opened on other days for special events. For these events, check our website. www.newscafe.nl.
